Evaluations are done – what’s next?

Congratulations to all of our SWAT players for a job well done during evaluations! It’s been a busy two weeks of hockey and now a lot of our families may be wondering what happens next.

Team formation

• U-9, U-11 and U-13 team formation is underway. Players can expect to be contacted by their coaches the week of Sept. 15 to 22.
• If you haven’t heard from your coach by Saturday, Sept. 21, please reach out to your child’s category director:
  • U-9: Kelly Macyk
  • U-11: Basia Braaksma
  • U-13: Dan Szaszkiewicz

First practices

Ice has been allocated for pre-season practices starting on the following dates:

• U-9: Sept. 22
• U-11: Sept. 21
• U-13 Sept. 17

Your coach will share the details of your first practice when they contact you.

U-7 evaluations to begin Sept. 21

We are also excited to start welcoming our older U-7 athletes to the ice next weekend. Junior (2019) and Senior (2018) Timbits will start skating on Sept. 21. Discovery athletes (2020) will begin on Sept. 28 or Oct. 5. Questions about U-7 evaluations can be directed to your Category Director: Brad Ecklund.
