The Co-Operators Community Assistance Fund

This fund is exclusively available to SWAT families due to the generous support of Maslyk/MacKenzie Insurance & Financial Planning (The Co-Operators Windermere) along with other community sponsors. The fund has been established to assist SWAT families that otherwise could not afford the registration cost of playing hockey for the 2020/2021 season. Funding is being considered on a family-by-family basis and, if approved, will cover up to 50 per cent of the player(s) registration fees for the 2020/2021 season.
Allsports & Cycle has joined with the other sponsors in order to provide approved families with access to used equipment at no cost (some conditions apply)

Funding decisions will be based on which families demonstrate the most need and willingness to assist the association with additional volunteer hours throughout the 2020/2021 season. Funding decisions will be made by a small undisclosed committee that is separate from the SWAT board and has been established to keep all applications confidential.
