Hockey Edmonton recently announced that U-11 AA hockey programming will be moving to elite clubs for the 2025/2026 hockey season, which is where U-13 AA and AAA hockey is offered as well.

SWAT Hockey will continue to offer competitive streams of hockey through its tier 1 and 2 teams next season.

There are many elite clubs within the City of Edmonton, and players must try out for the club that falls within their geographic boundary based on primary residence. Many SWAT families will fall under the South Side Athletic Club (SSAC) boundaries, but some will fall under Canadian Athletic Club (CAC) boundaries. Please refer to this map to confirm which club boundary you fall within.

If your child is interested in trying out for U-11 AA, U-13 AA or U-13 AAA hockey next season, you are encouraged to watch the SSAC and CAC websites for information about ID camps, training camps and tryout registration.
