For many years, SWAT teams have created their own team names and logos. What began as a fun way to distinguish teams from one another became a tradition enjoyed by players, coaches and families across the association.

As SWAT continues to grow, the Board has been discussing how we can strengthen the identity and pride that connects all of our athletes and families. With more than 900 players wearing the SWAT jersey each season, we want our athletes to see themselves first and foremost as part of one association, one community and one team.

Beginning with the 2026-27 season, individual team names and logos will no longer be used. All teams will compete under a single SWAT identity and brand.

While this marks a change from past seasons, it also creates an exciting opportunity. Rather than having dozens of team names and logos across the association, we will have one name that unites every SWAT player, coach, volunteer and family.
